creek to coast in conjunction with the caravan parks association, travelled from brisbane to cairns to show the public, caravan parks were still open and north queensland is still open for business. We were fortunate enough for them to select us as a stop over for the night. Program will air late May, might only be for two minutes, but it all helps.

We have had plenty of rain over the summer months. Hopefully this will be the end of it all as our lawns are looking good with no patches. Has been quiet due to rain, new books out for people who want information on caravan parks in queensland.

We had over 100 mls of rain last night, but today it has all gone and the ground does not look as though it had been here. Very overcast but not cold. Tomorrow should be a fine day. All good

Tomorrow we are having a pizza night. We order from Eagleboys and they deliver. Always a good pizza from them. Hope to get a good turnout

Sarina Markets are on tomorrow. Very big market about 130 stalls. It is held last Sunday of each month. Entertainment as well as breakfast. Then  Sarina Show on the first weekend of August.

big 60Had a birthday party on Saturday, someone turned 60 and we had a few surprises as well.

Last night was pizza night. Ordered from Eagleboys and everybody who came thought they were great. Another good night

Tonight was roast spit night, we had beef, pork and lamb and everyone had to bring a vegetable dish, all tasted very nice and went down well. We even had a couple of ladies do sweets. yummy Good night was had by all

Had a session of disc bowls this afternoon. Neil and Marie won overall and a good fun afternoon it was.Wednesday will be barbque night, so hopefully the rain will not arrive and is it not too cold.

Sausage sizzle was good and we ended up with two entertainers. Had a good singalong with all the old songs.
